Johnson C. Smith University College of Business and Professional Studies Welcomes Sheldon Osborne to Dean’s Executive Advisory Board

Charlotte, N.C./ June 22, 2026 — The Johnson C. Smith University College of Business and Professional Studies is pleased to announce the appointment of Sheldon Osborne, Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager at TD Bank, to the Dean’s Executive Advisory Board.

Osborne brings extensive experience in commercial banking, strategic growth, client relationship management, and community-focused finance. In his role at TD Bank, he advises commercial clients on credit structuring, capital solutions, and long-term financial strategy. He is recognized for combining disciplined financial insight with a relationship-driven approach that fosters trusted and lasting client partnerships.

In addition to his work at TD Bank, Osborne serves as a board member of the North Carolina Bankers Association, contributing to industry leadership and advocacy across the state. He also serves on the Board of DreamKey Partners, where he supports initiatives that expand affordable housing and promote sustainable community growth throughout North Carolina.

A graduate of Morehouse College, Osborne brings to the DEAB a deep appreciation for the mission and legacy of historically Black colleges and universities, as well as a demonstrated commitment to leadership, service, and inclusive economic development.

The Dean’s Executive Advisory Board provides strategic counsel, industry insight, and community engagement in support of the College of Business and Professional Studies. Through the leadership and expertise of its members, the Board helps strengthen academic programs, expand professional opportunities for students, and advance the College’s regional and national prominence.

Osborne’s appointment reflects the College’s continued commitment to engaging accomplished leaders whose experience and networks can help support student success, workforce readiness, and institutional growth.
