Basketball Alumnus develops training program, gives back to youth

CHARLOTTE, N.C., June 21, 2019 –  Former Johnson C. Smith University Golden Bull Richard Daniels, Jr., is giving back an opportunity that was given to him at a young age.

Daniels is the owner of a basketball training program called NeverOutWorked, or N.O.W. for short, which specializes in individual training that is tailored to each child, specifically from the ages of 8 and up. The training is for boys and girls.

Daniels is currently the junior varsity head basketball coach at Glenn High School in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

From 2010 until 2014, Daniels was a point guard for the Golden Bulls and was a key player for Coach Stephen Joyner, Sr. team. Daniels was also a member of the Golden Bulls golf team.  He graduated from JCSU with a degree in sports management.
