The Johnson C. Smith University Choral Program, also known as the "SOUL of Charlotte” has seen exponential growth in recruitment and ensembles.  Under the direction of Dr. Angelica Brooks, the program continues its rich tradition of rendering stellar performances with a student-centered focus towards excellence in music.  The choir is known as "The S.O.U.L. of Charlotte" to emphasize their unique status as the only HBCU in Charlotte, signifying the beginning of a new era of excellence in the program.
