Biography

Terry McPherson – Director of Housing and Residence Life - has returned to the Office of Residence Life after working in Business Operations for a short period.

His Education includes the following:

He attended the following K-12 schools – elementary through high school - in Berkeley, California.

He also attended West Charlotte H.S. after returning to Charlotte to live with his mother for part of his senior year.

  • Johnson C. Smith University received his Bachelor of Arts – Early Childhood Education
  • University of Phoenix – Masters of Business Administration
  • Courses taken at San Francisco State University and
  • Appalachian State University

He began working toward his career after graduating from Johnson C. Smith University, where he took on the following jobs:

  • Upward Bound Summer Residential Coordinator
