Biography
Katrina L. Gordon has served as Senior Data Analyst in the Division of Institutional Advancement at Johnson C. Smith University since 2008. In this role, she provides critical support across the development office, specializing in fundraising revenue analysis for the Development and Alumni Affairs teams. Her work ensures data integrity, transparency, and strategic reporting that drive donor engagement and support philanthropic growth.
Katrina plays an essential role in financial management by supporting the procurement of private giving accounts and overseeing all related reporting activities. She is also responsible for preparing donor recognition listings for key university publications, helping to elevate donor visibility and acknowledgment. With deep institutional knowledge and technical expertise, Katrina manages the entire gift processing lifecycle—ensuring timely, accurate, and donor-focused processing and acknowledgment. Her strong rapport with alumni and donors has not only strengthened relationships but has also contributed directly to increased giving and donor retention. Her ongoing commitment to stewardship and data-driven insights continues to make a meaningful impact on the university’s fundraising success. Katrina holds a Master of Business Administration - Public Administration from Strayer University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Montreat College.
