Harriet Hobbs is the Chief Strategist for Accreditation, Data Analytics, and Transformation at Johnson C. Smith University. Dr. Hobbs has over 20 years of experience in higher education and leads a team that provides leadership and support for accreditation and assessment and uses data to inform decision-making, promoting continuous improvement and transformation initiatives. Previously, she served as the Vice President of Institutional Planning, Assessment, Effectiveness, and Research at Clinton College; Director of Assessment Systems and University Accreditation and the Director of General Education and Program Review at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte; Director of Institutional Planning, Assessment, Effectiveness, and Research at Johnson C. Smith University; and the Director of Institutional Effectiveness and Planning at Bladen Community College. Dr. Hobbs is a 2024 HERS alum.
