Biography
In June 2004, I was hired as Johnson C. Smith University’s first Director of Corporate Relations. This new position reported directly to the Vice President for Institutional Advancement, and was responsible for developing and implementing a corporate outreach program and growing corporate giving to the University. I transitioned to a new role as Grants Research Manager within the Division in July 2010 with primary responsibility of identifying grant opportunities for corporate and private foundation funding, and providing profiles of potential giving prospects.
