Biography

Antonio Brown is an experienced higher education professional specializing in academic advising, student learning and development, and adult education theories and principles. Utilizing his personal and professional experiences Antonio has a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within higher education.

As the Program and Tutorial Coordinator for TRIO-Student Support Services, Antonio supports first-generation, low-income, and students with documented disabilities, overseeing the program’s tutorial services to promote academic success. A first-generation college graduate himself, Antonio finds this work especially meaningful as he strives to empower students to overcome barriers and achieve their educational goals. His career path includes roles as a Career and Academic Advisor, Career Coach, and Program Coordinator, highlighting his dedication to student success and institutional effectiveness.

Outside of his professional work, Antonio is passionate about African American History, Community Service, and Current Affairs.
