Biography

Anjelica, a native of Hampton, Virginia, earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Marketing and Fashion Merchandising from The Art Institute of Virginia Beach. After graduation, she relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina, where she obtained insurance certifications in Auto, Home, Life, and Health.

While working as a licensed insurance agent, Anjelica pursued her passion for fashion by launching an online clothing boutique, which continues to thrive today, reflecting her ability to successfully balance entrepreneurship and a full-time professional career. She has since built a diverse professional background, serving as an Executive Assistant across multiple industries, including finance, nonprofit, and retail.

With over 10 years of experience in management and customer service, along with more than 5 years of executive-level administrative support, Anjelica brings a strong foundation of organizational and leadership skills. She currently serves as the Administrative Assistant to the Dean of the College of Business and Professional Studies (CBPS) at Johnson C. Smith University, where she is a valued member of the team.
