What is Spring Term II?

Spring Term II is designed for students who missed the beginning of the semester and want to start mid-semester. 

Who is Eligible to Apply?  

Students who want a flexible schedule to control their academic journey. Courses are offered online for added flexibility.

All courses are offered online and available in featured majors, including: 

  • Business Administration (Accounting) 
  • Business Administration (Management) 
  • Criminology 
  • Interdisciplinary Studies 
  • Sport Management 
  • Social Work 

Admission Requirements 

  • Completed admissions application 
  • Official transcript(s) from all colleges and Universities attended since high school 
  • A minimum 2.0 GPA is required 

How to Apply 

Important Deadlines 

All applications and required documents must be submitted by Friday, March 6. This includes submitting all official transcripts.

The Evening Online Program is designed for working adults and nontraditional students who want to earn a degree while balancing work, family, and other responsibilities. Classes are offered online and in the evening for added flexibility. 

This program is ideal for:

  • Adult learners returning to school

  • Students who prefer online learning 

The following majors are exclusively offered in an online format: Interdisciplinary Studies, Sport Management, Criminology, Business Administration: Accounting and Management. Social Work is offered in a hybrid format.

Yes, most courses are offered fully online asynchronously (there is no specific meeting day/time for the courses but course work must be completed by the deadline provided by the instructor).  Additionally, courses within the Social Work major may include on-the-ground classes, optional or required virtual meetings, discussion boards, or live online sessions. 

Classes are typically held online to accommodate working adults. Online coursework allows students to complete assignments at convenient times, while still meeting deadlines. 

Program length depends on the degree, number of credits required, and whether you attend part-time or full-time. Transfer credits may reduce the time needed to complete your degree. 

Yes. JCSU accepts transfer credits from accredited institutions. Official transcripts must be submitted for evaluation. 

Admission requirements vary by program but generally include:

Yes. Eligible students may apply for financial aid, including federal grants, loans, scholarships, and employer tuition assistance. Students should complete the FAFSA to be considered.

  • An active JCSU email account 
  • Some courses may require specific software, which will be shared before classes begin.
