In an effort to safely return to normalcy for the fall 2021 semester, Johnson C. Smith University is requiring students to receive COVID-19 vaccinations. In order to return to campus for the 2021-2022 academic school year, students must complete the vaccination process by Friday, July 30, 2021.

Johnson C. Smith University is making a name for itself in the Esports and gaming world. The University’s Esports and Gaming club recently won the HBCU Esports League’s Fall Classic Call of Duty (COD): Black Ops Cold War Tournament after defeating Morgan State University.
Springfield presents research in preparation for her journey to earn her doctorate
This semester, McNair Scholar Aria Springfield ’19 presented her research at two different conferences, most recently at Rice University’s National Student Leadership Conference in Houston, Texas. Her research deals with the Lost Cause Narrative and it’s perpetuation through historical tourism in Charleston, South Carolina.
