Giving Tuesday
As we approach the season of giving, we invite you to join Johnson C. Smith University as we prepare for Giving Tuesday, December 3, 2024.
Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving back. On the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, you will have the opportunity to share in the worldwide showcase of philanthropy and make a difference in the lives of JCSU students. Your support on Giving Tuesday will reduce the out-of-pocket education costs for our students so they can focus on their studies and graduate from JCSU to become the change agents and innovators we need in our world. This year, our goal is to raise $20,000 to fund our Phasing Up Program, which is dedicated to serving JCSU students who are phasing out of the foster care system.

This year, please consider supporting the Annual Fund which houses our unrestricted funds. Donating to the Annual Fund allows Johnson C. Smith University to route financial support to any program that needs additional resources, including our Phasing Up program.
Your donation can help fund the various costs associated with our Phasing Up program, which can include specialty services and resources for students who don't have the same level of familial support as some traditional students. These challenges can seem insurmountable, and students may be faced with the harsh reality of interrupting or discontinuing their journey and fulfilling their dreams of a college education. Give on #GivingTuesday and help remove these barriers to retaining our intellectually gifted and socially conscious students.
