Shirley Townsend is a highly motivated and experienced professional dedicated to supporting students' academic and personal development. With a Master of Education in School Counseling from the University of North Carolina Pembroke, Shirley has extensive experience as an Academic Advisor, School Counselor, and Scholarship Coordinator. Currently serving as the Scholarship Coordinator, Financial Aid Counselor Support, and UNCF Campus Advisor at Johnson C. Smith University, she oversees the Presidential scholarship programs, manages student engagement, and facilitates scholarship workshops. Shirley is passionate about empowering students to achieve their educational goals through personalized guidance and community outreach.
