Dr. Abdullah Masum serves as an Assistant Professor of Finance at JCSU, where he teaches both core and advanced finance courses, including Business Finance, Financial Statement Analysis, and Investments. He also mentors students as the faculty advisor for the JCSU student ambassador program of the Society for Financial Education and Professional Development (SFEPD) and oversees the JCSU student-run investment fund.
Dr. Masum's research interests include Corporate Finance, ESG, Corporate Governance, Political Economy, and Financial Accounting. His work has been published in prestigious journals such as the Journal of Corporate Finance (twice), Financial Management (twice), the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, and the British Journal of Management, among others.
