Yes, it is free for you and your two guests!

Yes, it is mandatory! We want to ensure your curricular and co-curricular success and you can get a “head start” by joining us to learn more about your educational, social and cultural journey at JCSU, by attending Golden Bull Academy. 

Please contact us at GBA@jcsu.edu and we will work with you and your family to move your session date. 

Johnson C. Smith University has a thriving international presence on campus and we are excited that you have selected our institution. Yes, you should attend GBA! We encourage you to take into consideration your overall travel plans to the United States since the spring semester commences on Monday, August 19, 2024.  For more information about our International Student Experience, I-20 generation process, etc., then please contact the Registrar’s Office at Registrar@jcsu.edu.

Your Health and Immunization Form, which displays your immunization records, is critical to your safety and well-being while you are enrolled at JCSU, particularly as we continue to live with the threat of COVID-19. Likewise, North Carolina law requires that all entering students submit proof of required immunizations to maintain enrollment at JCSU. The Director of Health and Wellness, Dr. Marian Jones, reserves the right to interpret the validity of all documents submitted to Health Services. If you have specific medical questions for Dr. Jones, then please reach out to her at myjones@jcsu.edu or 704.378.1074.

Great question! You can provide your completed Health Form and all supporting medical documents two, main ways (see below). And don’t forget, you can bring your Health Immunizations Form to Golden Bull Academy with you
