This event will gather educators and administrators from across the Carolinas to share insights, innovations, and practices in higher education under this year's theme: "Connecting Across the Carolinas."


The purpose of Carolinas ConnectEd is to be a catalyst to transformative change by fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration among colleges and universities in the Charlotte-Piedmont area, driving collective progress, and enriching the educational landscape for the benefit of our community and beyond.

Call for Proposals

We are excited to open our call for proposals and invite your faculty and staff to contribute to the conference program. This is an excellent opportunity for your institution to showcase innovative projects, research, and practices that have made an impact on the student experience, persistence, retention, graduation, and achievement.


Topics of Interest: We encourage submissions that address the following areas, but are not limited to, student engagement, student success, educational technology, community outreach, and inclusive education.

Venue: Johnson C Smith University, Charlotte, NC
Date: May 14, 2025
Registration Fee: $40 per participant

The conference will include a variety of sessions, from keynote addresses to breakout discussions and interactive workshops. It will be a wonderful time to decompress from the academic year and CONNECT will colleagues from across the Carolinas. We aim to foster an environment where higher education practitioners and scholars can share their experiences and strategies for enhancing student and community engagement across our regions.
