The University welcomes admission inquiries from international students. Whether you are applying as a first-time freshman, transfer, or graduate student, international students should complete an admissions application three months before the beginning of the term in which they intend to enroll.

International students must submit the following:

  • JCSU Admissions Application
  • Application Fee
  • Verification of graduation from high school or secondary institution (Freshman applicants only)
  • Official High School Transcripts/Certificate in English with translation certified
  • Declaration of Certification of Finance, that sufficient funds are available to finance the planned course of study without causing undue hardship on the student
  • A certified statement from the bank, lending agency or sponsor that stipulates the amount of money on reserve for tuition, fees and living accommodations to matriculate in a four-year undergraduate program in the United States
  • A transcript evaluation (with determined G.P.A.) from an accredited transcript evaluation agency in the United States
  • English Language Requirements

If an applicant’s native language is not English, the applicant must submit one of the following:

  • A TOEFL score of at least 520 paper-based, or a 68 Internet-Based*
  • SAT Evidenced Based Reading and Writing score of 480 or higher for freshmen applicants only.
