Welcome to The Center for Career and Professional Development (CCPD)

Students come to Johnson C. Smith University for an education that will open doors to their future.  We are here to make sure the knowledge, skills, and experiences needed to start a successful career are obtained.  We offer experiential learning through internship opportunities, career planning and graduate school advising.  We provide tools to assist students with job-search strategies, resume development, interviewing techniques, and to build a powerful network of professional contacts.

We work with faculty, staff and corporate partners to see to it that students set, develop and attain their career goals. By providing such services and facilitating student development, we provide access for employers (on and off campus) to competitive, work-ready, students and recent alumni.
