Who do you know?

Today’s economy requires graduates to be more competitive than ever to find employment. With our well-connected faculty who have established contacts in the field and our strong network of alumni, JCSU gives graduates a leg up on the competition.

At least 96% of JCSU seniors discuss career plans with faculty.

JCSU faculty in every department have practiced in their field and maintain friendships and professional contacts. We care about your success — not just during your time as a student here, but in the years beyond as you pursue a career. Our faculty can help make that happen.

Work experience and professional connections before you graduate.

Our students graduate with real world experience. As recommended upon completing their JCSU degree, students complete internships and participate in research and community service activities.

By their senior year, 81% of students have participated in some form of practicum, internship, field experience or clinical assignment.

Through practical experience and community interaction, our students get the skills they need to excel in today’s work environment. Students also make professional network connections that are critical to finding employment opportunities after graduation.

JCSU has The Center of Career and Professional Development right on campus.  The center of Career and Professional Development assists students as well as alumni with resumes, internships, job placements, interviews, and so much more.
