Opened in early 2010, Kokomo’s is the university’s first on-campus coffeehouse. The coffeehouse was founded by Tiwanna “Koko” Hagans, a 1994 JCSU alumna who wanted to bring her franchise back home to her alma mater. Sadly, Hagans died suddenly just months before the store opened, but her entrepreneurial spirit lives on as part of the university she loved so much. Kokomo’s is the perfect place for students, faculty, staff, and community members alike to grab hot and cold coffee drinks and baked goods between classes.
