Counseling Center (Smith Cottage)

Currently housed in one of the two former brick JCSU faculty houses that still exist across Beatties Ford Road from the main campus, the Office of Counseling Services aims to promote and facilitate the interest, wellness, and growth of all JCSU students. The Office of Counseling Services strives to encourage student involvement on campus and in the community by enhancing self-awareness, and aiming to inspire the individual and collective leadership skills of all students. To accomplish this mission, the Counseling Center offers individual and group counseling, workshops, support services, and educational materials as well as confidential intakes and assessments and referrals to appropriate resources to all enrolled students on a walk-in or appointment basis.
