STUDENT INTERNSHIPS SPOTLIGHT

Megan McLean

This summer I was part of Queen City Forward's phenomenal college entrepreneur accelerated program, called ImpactU. My experience in working with Charles Thomas and the ImapctU team was second-to-none. I was able to build up a network of extraordinary people in the Charlotte community by learning about their stories of success and the importance of failure, as well as experience the thriving and growing entrepreneurial community Charlotte has to offer. The opportunity to participate in this program has made me a better business woman and supporter in all aspects, and made me a proud Charlottean. My experience would not have been what it was without the support and advocacy of the ImpactU team: Charles Thomas, Christie Kahil and Tori Karlek, as well as all the mentors they brought through, and my JCSU cheerleaders Ron Stodghill, Keisha Talbot Johnson, and Radijah Hudson of Innovo Laboratory and the Innovo Scholar Society.
