Bio:
Wanda K. W. Ebright is an associate professor of dance and chair of the Department of Visual, Performing and Communication Arts. She holds a B.A. in French with a history minor from the University of Memphis and an MFA in dance performance and choreography from Florida State University. She is a candidate for a Ph.D. in dance at Texas Woman's University, with a research focus on the varied roles of dance on historically black college and university campuses. She has served as regional representative, festival coordinator and president of the South Carolina Dance Association and is the artistic director of The Wanda Project, a contemporary dance company which serves as JCSU's company-in-residence. Ebright teaches all levels of classical ballet, pointe, Graham-based modern and jazz dance, as well as courses in dance history and composition.

Bio:
Cynthia Cole is an instructor of graphic design, digital and film photography, beginning web design and internships in the Department of Visual, Performing and Communication Arts. She earned degrees from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Ga. (B.A.), and New York University (M.A.). She is a fine art photographer and has exhibited her work in New York, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Charlotte, Nashville galleries and has been written about in such publications as The Art Papers, Creative Loafing and The Atlanta Journal & Constitution. When not at JCSU, she can be found working in the greenhouse, building things, making images, reading really good books and participating in events taking place at the intentional community she lives in.
