University Communications and Marketing (UCM) regularly promotes the University by disseminating newsworthy information about faculty, staff, students, events and University accomplishments to local, regional and national media outlets. Newsworthy information and events are also postoned on the University website and social media outlets.
All units and individuals within the University should submit news items for the media to Emiene Wright at 704.330.1338 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Internal news announcements are compiled and distributed daily through the University’s internal newsletter, JCSU News. For guidelines and news submission instructions, click here.
Unite and organizations needing to publicize their events may consult with UCM for promotion strategies and ideas. To ensure that your event appears on the JCSU website, each area is required to enter their event into R-25, the University's master calendar. The alumni e-newsletter featuring class notes, accolades, news and sports, is distributed monthly through UCM in coordination with the Office of Alumni Affairs. News items may be submitted to Ron Matthews, director of Alumni Affairs, firstname.lastname@example.org.
