Johnson Seabrook Education Building on campus.
Disability Services
Purpose
Our mission is to provide and coordinate
support services and programs that enable students with disabilities
to maximize their educational potential and to increase the level
of awareness. This office also serves as a resource to all members
of the University community so that all students with disabilities
can freely and actively participate in all facets of University
life.
The Disability/Language Specialist
will assist in developing a climate of supportive success by facilitating
accommodations in the following areas:
- Classroom accommodations
- Adaptive housing
- Adaptive technology
- Campus orientation for visually
impaired
- Access to campus elevators
- Curriculum modifications
