Northwest Corridor INDABA
INDABA, or great sitting down, is a community forum which is common in African tribes. Johnson C. Smith University takes pride in hosting the INDABA where representatives from the neighborhoods and businesses located in the Northwest Corridor, elected officials representing the area and civic leaders throughout Charlotte all come together.
The mission of these gatherings is to review and assess our annual community action items, as well as to plan additional community enhancements in strategic areas, including education, economic empowerment, and community leadership.
Our Next INDABA
All residents of the Northwest Corridor Community are invited to an INDABA leadership conversation on August 31, 2013 from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.
This session will be held on the campus of Johnson C. Smith University in Biddle Hall.
During the session, we will share interview and focus group results and the proposed job descriptions for aspiring candidates. This will be an opportunity to have an open forum where candidates can share their views and platform proposals.
