Linette Fox, assistant professor of management


Dr. Fox is an assistant professor of business management and assistant principal investigator and professional development coordinator for the Faculty Development Program. She earned degrees from Bennett College for Women (B.A.), University of North Carolina at Greensboro (MBA) and the Union Institute and University (Ph.D). She has completed additional study at UNC-Greensboro, UNC-Chapel Hill, the National Autonomous University, Centro De Ensenanza Para Extranjeros, School for Foreign Students, in Mexico City, Mexico, and participated in a summer academic and cultural exchange with various North Carolina HBCU students and faculty in the former Soviet Union. She has served as chair of the Department of Business and Economics, director of the Urban Research Group, special assistant to the vice president for Academic Affairs, Faculty Senate president and chair of a host of committees. She has several conference presentations, community-base research publications and other proceedings articles. Also, she has facilitated numerous workshops and community-related seminars. Her hobbies include reading, dancing and teaching her grandchildren to play tennis and focus on healthy eating and physical fitness activities.
