(CHARLOTTE, NC)----The Johnson C. Smith University
Office of Public Relations will be releasing copies of the
2004 Summer Alumni Newsletter this week.
In addition to displaying a likeable photo of a JCSU Class of
2004 Alum, LeAnn Harley and her little sister Jasmine, this issue is packed with
stories about positive changes that have affected JCSU over
the 2003-2004 Academic Year.
In this volume you will read stories about how the Class of
2004 championed change, as they grew from young freshmen to
fresh new JCSU graduates.
You will also hear from Class of 2004 Co-valedictorians,
Jihad Muhammad and Patricia Gillespie, as they talk about why
they selected JCSU and how valuable their college experience
was in preparing them for life.
The summer issue also includes a story about how our tennis
team made college history by becoming six-time Central
Intercollegiate Athletic Association champions.
There is also a special feature in this issue called “New
Faces.” This section provides you with updates about JCSU
staff, who have joined the team since publication of our last
newsletter.
