JCSU and Local Design Agency Win Six Advertising Awards

JCSU and Set?Communicate won six national awards
April 14, 2008 - Johnson C. Smith University and Set?Communicate! Marketing firm won six top national honors from Admissions Marketing Report's 23rd Annual Admissions Advertising Awards.
The organization’s top award, “Best of Show,” was awarded to JCSU for its 2006 annual report.
“We are excited to get this award for a couple of reasons,” said JCSU Public Relations Director Benny Smith. “It is the first time in JCSU history that we have received a Best of Show honor for our publications. Secondly, this is a confirmation that we are succeeding in taking complex information and making it easy to read for our audiences.
The following includes a list of awards won:
• Best of Show was awarded for the Johnson C. Smith University "Application of Success” President’s Report
• Gold Medal was also awarded for the Johnson C. Smith University "Application of Success” President’s Report
• Gold Award was awarded for the Johnson C. Smith University "Bulletin” magazine.
• Bronze Award was awarded for the Johnson C. Smith University “Surround Yourself With Success” Brand Image Ebony Advertising.
• Merit Award was awarded for the Johnson C. Smith University "Surround Yourself With Academic Success" Interactive Student Recruitment CD Viewbook.
• Merit Award as awarded for the Johnson C. Smith University "Surround Yourself With Success at JCSU" Brand Image Advertising Campaign.
The Admissions Marketing Report is a national publication for higher education professionals. U.S. News & World Report recently ranked Johnson C. Smith University among the Top 10 America’s Best Black Colleges and Universities.
