JCSU to Celebrate 142nd Commencement May 4

Charlotte, N.C. (April 23, 2014) – Johnson C. Smith University will hold its 142nd Commencement exercises on Sunday, May 4 at 8 a.m. at the Irwin Belk Complex on the university campus.

Commencement speaker is Robert Niblock, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Lowe’s Companies, Inc. The university will also hold a Baccalaureate Ceremony for the Class of 2014 at 6 p.m. on May 2. Guest speaker is Rev. Clifford A. Jones, Sr., who serves as Senior Minister at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Charlotte.
