HealthPlex Offers Community Weight Management Program
Charlotte, N.C. (Feb. 1, 2013) – On Feb. 26 Johnson C. Smith University’s HealthPlex will begin a free community weight management program for the public. Weekly sessions will be held every Monday from 5:30-6:15 p.m. at the HealthPlex located near Brayboy Gymnasium.
The 12 weekly group sessions will cover educational resources and practical exercises. Each participant will receive a personalized exercise program, one-on-one goal setting assistance and group support. The goal of the program is to help participants learn how to maintain a healthy lifestyle by creating good eating habits and regular exercise.
