Community Health Workshops Offered at Johnson C. Smith University
Charlotte, N.C. – May 1, 2012 – Johnson C. Smith University and Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina are sponsoring a series of free health workshops in the James B. Duke Memorial Library on campus.
The following workshops will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays starting in May.
May 1: Summer detoxing and learning how to cleanse your body in five easy steps
May 8: Healing through proper hydration
May 15: Practical guide to cooking and eating healthy all year
May 22: How vitamins work with foods to boost energy and increase vitality
June 5: What’s in your drugs and supplements
June 19: How to search Medline Plus for healthy grocery shopping tips, etc.
June 26: Getting the right eating facts to improve your health
