Food Lion Champions Retail Program
During
the 2006-07 school year, JCSU's Business Administration and
Economics Department consulted with Food Lion executives to develop
curriculum requirements for a retail concentration to be added to
the existing business administration degree offerings. The proposal
for the new retail program received university approval in spring
2007, and will be implemented fall 2007.
Food Lion has agreed to invest $50,000 in expendable scholarship
support to establish the Food Lion Retail Management Scholars
Program. Scholarships will be available beginning with the fall
