Finding Information on Campus
We know many people who will visit our campus for the Commencement celebration this year will be newcomers to Johnson C. Smith University, and we realize there will be a number of new events and celebrations that may be unfamiliar to our visitors.
That’s why we’ll have several ways of providing visitors with information to make sure that you are where you need to be.
Several student ambassadors will be on hand to answer any questions our visitors may have. They will be stationed across campus, and you can recognize them because they will be wearing black slacks with white shirts and nametags. If you have any questions they will be able to help you get an answer.
In addition to our roving student ambassadors, we will have two stationary information booths where student ambassadors will be available to answer your questions. One of these will be in the “Will Call” booth near the front entrance of the Irwin Belk Stadium. A second information booth will be located in the ticket booth in the foyer of Brayboy Gymnasium.
Both information booths will be staffed from 6:30 a.m. until the end of the Commencement ceremony.
