Graduate School Testing
The Counseling and Testing Center houses information and
registration bulletins for various graduate school entrance exams
including the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT), the Medical
College Admissions Test (MCAT), and the Graduate Records Exam
(GRE). The Center is also authorized to issue GRE fee waivers to
JCSU seniors receiving Financial Aid. Students must present their
Financial Aid award letter to receive the waiver. Students who
inquire about computerized testing will be referred to appropriate
testing facilities in Charlotte that offer this service.
Registration bulletins for most
graduate exams are available in the Counseling and Testing
Center. Study assistance for certain graduate school exams is
available on campus, at no cost, through the Teaching and Learning
Center (TLC). Center staff will refer students to the TLC or
other sessions designated by the Educational Testing Services (ETS).
Upon request, the Counseling Center staff will assist students in
making application to graduate school and inform them of
appropriate deadlines and requirements for entry examinations.
