  2. How often has it been filled in the past five years?
  3. What were the main reasons?
  4. What would you like done differently by the next person who fills this position?
  5. What special skills are required for this position?
  6. What will be my responsibilities?
  7. What qualities do you look for in a new employee?
  8. How is one evaluated in this position?
  9. What criteria are used in a performance review?
  10. Will traveling be required in this position?
  11. Will relocation be required now or in the future?
  12. What are the major responsibilities of the department?
  13. What is the overall structure of the department where the position is located?
  14. Where will I fit into the overall organizational structure?
  15. Who will I report to? 
  16. Where does he/she fit in the structure?
  17. Who will report to me?
  18. How experienced are they?
  19. What is most pressing?
  20. What would you like to have done in the next 3 months?
  21. What projects or tasks would you like to see accomplished in the next five or six months?
  22. What are some of the objectives you would like to see accomplished in this job?

Of course these are just examples and you’ll want to mix your questions and answers up in the interview so you’ll have a positive exchange.
