The
services of Academic Computing and Information
Services have been combined to form the new
Educational Technology unit within the
Information Technology Department. This new
organizational arrangement has been designed to
optimize support to curriculum units in their
efforts to incorporate the mobile computing
platform with their areas. The current
institutional computing architecture with standard
institutional applications, platforms, and network
services eliminates the outmoded distinction of
academic and administrative computing at
JCSU.
This new unit within IT will direct it’s
activities to the following broad areas:
