EVENING LIBRARY SUPERVISOR

Responsibilities: The Evening Library Supervisor will be responsible for managing all the daily circulation activities in the evenings and on weekends which includes routine check of the library facility, enforcing library policies, assist in maintaining security of library resources, closing the library, and supervising student workers, and library assistants. The Evening Library Supervisor will maintain the online chat/messaging for the new online degree program, assist in processing archival collections, and assist with programing and marketing the library. The Evening Library Supervisor will report any library repairs or maintenance services while performing customer services duties and other assigned library duties. Reports to the Director of Library Services.
Qualifications: A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required with at least 2 years’ experience directly related to the primary duties of the position. Candidate must have knowledge and understanding in providing library services or customer services in a diverse environment. Candidate must have good technology skills, writing skills, and communication skills. Prefer candidate who has worked with college students, familiar with library services and procedures, and have social media and technology experiences. Managerial experience is required. Will consider candidate with a combination of work experience and education.
