This is a grant funded position.
Performs as a business analyst working with Metropolitan College to help apply current and new technology to fit business functions. Assists with software installation, upgrades and migrations as needed. Utilizes IT Helpdesk Management software to track, manage, and resolve trouble call tickets and to provide phone support as needed.
Designs, develops, documents, and implements integration with various applications and external sources, may need to utilize Integration Services and SQL scripting.
Design, Trouble shoot, Document, and/or Implement reporting.
Works with Metropolitan College and in conjunction with the University IT team to build meta data libraries to be used for reporting needs.
Assist with the training of Metropolitan College staff and faculty as needed in the use of software tools used by the college and University.
Keep abreast of market trends and technology as it relates to the adult and online learning, as well as the University.
Monitor and maintain applications for service packs and upgrades for Metropolitan College.
Bachelor's degree in technical/analytical field, educational technology field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience in the areas of higher education, online learning, and content delivery and design is required.
Four or more years of relevant experience preferred. Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills. Required proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Products, HTML, Web editing, Internet, and various assessment and content management products required.
Previous Experience working with a Learning Management System required.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with technicians and faculty.
Able to effectively communicate orally (in person and by telephone) and in writing.
Able to multi-task, yet maintain close attention to detail and timeliness of work production is required.
