Position: ASSOCIATE OR ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF SPORT MANAGEMENT (1 POSITION)
Salary and Rank: SALARY AND RANK WILL BE COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE

One nine-month tenure-track appointment beginning August 2014.
Responsibilities: Teaches a variety of courses in Sport Management such as Sport Information, Sport Finance and Economics, Sport Sociology & Ethics, Sport Leadership, Sport Psychology, Sport Marketing, Sport Management, along with others in the discipline. Other responsibilities to include advising majors, supervising field/practicum experiences, collaborating with various community agencies to establish field/practicum experiences, serving on University and departmental committees, performing community service, grant writing, and conducting research. In addition, faculty members perform other duties required to meet organizational needs.
Qualifications: An earned doctorate in Sports Management or similar discipline with experience using technology as well as a variety of instructional strategies to deliver instruction, evidence of scholarly research and outstanding teaching ability are required.
