How do I make sure
I beat deadlines?
When you first find out the cost of your yearly tuition, you
may wonder if you’re paying for college or buying a small
country. The amount may seem overwhelming. However, by meeting
these deadlines, you may be able to decrease your balance due
to the university:
December 1
–If you haven’t received your renewal form by this date, you
need to come by the office of financial aid to get a FAFSA
(FREE APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL STUDENT AID)

- Applications for Parent Plus loans will automatically be
entered. If the parent or borrower doesn’t want to reapply, a
letter must be sent to our office by this date.
February 1 -
North Carolina Residents deadline for
North Carolina Incentive Grant (NCIG)
March 1
– Deadline for Federal Work-study and SEOG.
Please note: this date is subject to change based on the
availability of funds, aid at that time will be based on a
first come, first served basis. Student
must have a VALID student Aid Report and VERIFICATION
completed.
June 1 –
DC Tuition Assistance Lead Grant

order for the grant to be processed.
