Summer School

Is Summer School Right for You?

The Johnson C. Smith University Summer School is open to all persons who are eligible in at least one of the following categories:

Persons desiring to take college courses for
self-improvement.
Students completing requirements for degrees at other colleges or JCSU.
High school graduates intending to pursue a degree at JCSU or another institution.
In-service teachers who desire to upgrade, renew,
or convert their certificates.
Veterans eligible under Public Law No. 91-219 of the U.S. Congress to take training in an approved institution.

The first graduating class of Biddle Memorial
Institute had only three students in 1871.
