Who You’ll Work With

Your JCSU professors are experts in their field of study. All full-time history and education professors hold Ed.D. or Ph.D. degrees — some even have both.

To keep their teaching methods innovative, our professors participate in conferences and development programs. Enthusiastic and experienced, our professors care about the success of our students and helping them find the work that they’re passionate about.

Published experts in their field

Our faculty members are respected for their work outside of JCSU. In fact, one history professor worked with A&E on the network’s Biography series. He provided insight and background research on former U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower for the program.

Valuable Community Connections

The connections our faculty members have in the Charlotte community, museums and local schools can guide you to the right internships and research opportunities to help your resume stand out in a competitive job market.
