Assistant Professor
Dr. Bai’s
special research field is robotics
calibration, fuzzy logic control,
software engineering, mix-language
programming and high-accuracy
measurements of machine tools. He has
published three (3) books and the fourth
one is under the contract and will be
published by Springer-Verlag London
Limited in 2006. Most books are about
the software engineering, interfaces
programming and fuzzy logic control.
Besides those books, Dr. Bai has
published more than 15 scientific
research papers in the field of robotic
calibrations and fuzzy logic controls
recently, which include three (3) IEEE
trans journal papers and seven (7) IEEE
conference papers. All of those papers
are related to the accurate robotic
calibrations, fuzzy logic control
applied in the laser tracking system
that is used to calibrate robots and
machine tools and computational
intelligence applications.
Before joined the JCSU, Dr. Bai worked
as a senior software engineer for more
than 5 years in the field of automatic
control and testing equipment in Silicon
Valley, California and Columbus Ohio. He
has tons of experience on robotics
control, robots calibrations, software
programming and accurate measurements in
industrial and academic fields. Dr. Bai
is a Senior Member of IEEE and a member
of ACM. He received the University Best
Teaching and Achievement Award from JCSU
in 2003-2004 year. |
JCSU became one of the first members of the
United Negro College Fund in 1944. |
