You’ll work with professors who are experts in all fields of natural science, math and computer science. No matter what you want to study, our professors can lead you down the right path and give you practical advice for continued education and the workplace.
Cutting-Edge Faculty Research
Our professors are always involved with exciting and groundbreaking research. Past summer research has included the study of parasites that cross species, as well as hostile parasites in birds at the Carolina Raptor Center in Huntersville, N.C.
Another professor in our department has been studying the recovery of a coastal plain forest following the impact of Hurricane Hugo in 1989.
