Students electing the
general social science concentration are required to complete 21
credit hours of course work in one of the major areas of the social
science division (economics, history, political science or sociology)
and 21 credit hours in the remaining three areas combined.
Students
must complete a senior paper for the primary area; credit hours for
courses related to the senior paper count toward the 21 hour
requirement for the primary area. Students must also take six credit
hours of electives of their own choice. For more details, see the
university catalog.
