Communication Arts

When you consider Communication Arts as the starting point to your future, you are beginning a whole new, exciting world.  This department has some of the most popular and fastest growing areas of study at JCSU. The newly renovated labs have new Apple computers plus state-of-the-art software.

Because the Communication Arts professors are both academics and professionals in their fields, they know the industry standards and they are aware of graduate school requirements. Each faculty member also provides one-on-one guidance to make sure you get the most out of your time at JCSU. 

The Department offers a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts with courses in the areas of  Video Production, Graphic Design, Journalism, Audio Production, and Public Relations, along with course work in Mass Media, Communication Theory, Drama & Film, and Speech.
