There’s More Than One Way to Campus

Alternative transportation is available for students, faculty and staff living off campus on the Gold Rush Trolley, a free bus service that runs to campus from Center City Charlotte and CPCC Community College every 15 minutes. Since the trolley started rolling in February 2011, ridership has increased 30 percent.

The trolley will serve residents of Mosaic Village, scheduled to open in fall 2012, about 1.4 miles from campus. The village plans include 152 covered bicycle spaces on site, enough to serve 50 percent of the building occupants. They will help encourage pollution reduction from automobile use.
