Biking Club

JCSU and Charlotte B-Cycle have teamed up to offer a biking club. Biking is both convenient and economical, most importantly fun!

Beginner’s Yoga

New to yoga? Learn fundamental yoga positions at a slower pace.

Cardio Fitness

Throughout this class, participants will learn the benefits in cardiovascular fitness. During the course of movement, participants will be providing their body with oxygen rich blood for optimum performance. This fun and active class is a must to attend for a creative workout!

Cardio Funk

A melting pot of  hip and fun moves to introduce your body into a cardiovascular dance party.

Circuit Training

Combine resistance with conditioning! Work multiple muscle groups individually as you move from one exercise to the next. This class is built to improve your strength, and aerobic capacity.

Core Training

A 30 minute abdominal workout including fun and alternative exercises to strengthen your core.

Low Impact

Low impact exercise is often practiced by the elderly, who suffer from arthritis and other conditions which can make stresses to the joints very painful, low impact exercise may also benefit individuals who have recently suffered an injury.

Quick Fit

A 30 minute fun and effective workout to for optimizing your potential.

Water Fitness

Water Fitness is a balanced group exercise class that promotes cardio endurance, muscular endurance, flexibility, and general fitness.

Workout of the Week (WOW)

A new workout will be posted in the HealthPlex every Monday morning. The program will be designed to challenge you each week by adding variety to your workout, such as core and balance training, cardio intervals, and resistance training.

Yoga

JCSU and Peace In, Peace Out have designed a class to enhance energy and a sense of well-being, this yoga workout will help participants gain improved flexibility, balance, strength and posture.

Zumba

Zumba routines incorporate interval training, alternating fast and slow rhythms with easy-to-follow dance moves.
