Fitness Assessment Program
The JCSU HealthPlex Health and Wellness Assessment program is is designed to meet three distinct purposes. First, the assessment provides students, faculty, and staff with information regarding the their current health and fitness status. This information can be used as the basis for designing an individualized health and wellness program for each participant. Second, the assessment provides information for program evaluation.
JCSU HealthPlex staff can determine programming need based off of the number of participants who meet or exceed the Health and Wellness Range and adjust the program offerings, if needed, and encourage improvement for participants at the lower end of the Health and Wellness Range. Third, the assessment provides information for JCSU to monitor the health and wellness levels of students, faculty and staff of Johnson C. Smith University.
